I’ve been a 11C for 15 years. Glad someone with the intelligence took this fight and is doing a great job!

Eight years as 11C indirect fire infantry. I have had headaches, ringing in my ears, and other unexplained issues until I read through this research into concussive disorder.

There is nothing “low level” about the after effects of prolonged firing of heavy Mortars in Training or Combat. The only roadblock I see to this moving forward would be the cost to the VA and the DOD. Updating and amending current VA claims of 11C/0341 Soldiers/Marines. We all knew Serving involved sacrifice, but we were never told just doing your job will lead to brain damage.

Steady and constant ringing in my ears and minor memory loss for about 15 years straight. Worked the 60's, 81's and the 120's spanning 10 years. 1998-2008

Has an 11C I experience multiplied symptoms of the above articles. Yet the VA won’t recognize it as an occupational occurrence

I get a ringing in my ears that will last for hours, sometimes. I also forget things often. Find myself wondering why I was headed in a certain direction in the first place.
